Good morning! 🌞 Buffet styled Breakfast is served between 6-10am here; however, be quick! Early bird gets good food!
Excellent
Right outside of this hotel, walk toward the ocean. You’ll see a small kiosk on your left. They sell SIM cards for cheap from T-Mobile. The data coverage lasts one week and then you can top up via T-Mobile app.
Excellent
Take a bus to Old Town, make sure to buy the Dubrovnik Card at one of the tourist offices once you arrive. This will give you entrance into many different museums, art exhibits, and even the wall. Take a couple of hours to explore old town!
Excellent
Lunch time! Hungry after exploring the picturesque landscapes of Dubrovnik’s old town? Head over to Mex Cantina for some Mexican food! I ate a carne asada burrito with beans, rice, and guacamole! Yum!:)
Excellent
✨Explore nearby the hotel!✨ Head toward the beach and walk straight along a path. It wraps around the peninsula, showcasing stunning views of Croatias landscape. The teal waters make for stunning instagrammable pictures!

Goodmorning. 🥰 Hope you slept well after sleeping in from a long day yesterday! Breakfast is the most important meal of the day. We ate at a restaurant seated by the water and enjoyed a nice oatmeal with peanut butter, hemp seeds, bananas, blueberries, and other nuts. PS: This place has the best white coffee (cafe latte). Take note:📝 If you ever want a cafe latte, make sure to simply ask for “white coffee.” Also, if you would like ice coffee, ask for “white coffee with ice.” If you ask for an “ice coffee” they’ll think you want coffee with ice cream in it which is much more expensive (usually twice the price).

Explore more of old town today! 2-3 days is good enough for seeing everything.

A quick coffee break from the heat of midday sun. My boyfriend and I stopped at Cogito coffee shop. This lovely little cafe provides speciality coffee and several different options for vegan milk; including oat milk! Score!

Escape Room Activity 🔎🔐 Head back to your hotel by bus. Nearby will be a mall, go downstairs to the escape room. Here we escaped the heat and tried a fun indoor activity! We enjoyed this escape room so much, we even completed it within an hour! We actually had 1 second left to spare, no joke! I highly recommend checking this out. You can choose between two escape rooms: History of Dubrovnik or Game of Thrones themed. We chose the history escape room as we wanted to learn more about Dubrovnik. However, you don’t need to watch game of thrones to play in that escape room. I had never seen it and that’s what sparked my interest in watching it!

Rise and shine! Grab the rental car & let’s go! You’ll want to wake up early for this trip as it’s about an hour away. Since this spot has blown up over the past few years, you’ll want to arrive early to find parking and a space to lay your things. Pasjaca is a secluded beach with crystal teal waters set below orange cliffs! *bring tennis shoes for the hike up and down *loads of water *sunscreen *snacks & fruit

After a Long Beach day, explore this beautiful area nearby the hotel. Walk around the peninsula during sunset, I highly recommend it! 🌅✨😍

Dinner back at the hotel after a long day out exploring! We ate a lovely dish with chicken, a small side salad, and mozzarella sticks. ;)

✨Good morning✨ A quick coffee break at cogito coffee in Old Town to start a busy day! Since this was a cooler day we decided it would be perfect for hiking, walking, and exploring! What to bring: * walking shoes * water * 7 day Dubrovnik card * cash
Excellent
To start off the day with a bit of action and fun, beat the crowd by taking a cable car earlier in the day. This beautiful tourist attraction was only 170 kuna ($30). *the top has bathrooms, picture taking spots, and a restaurant (perfect for a sunset dinner)!*
Excellent
Anyone who’s a Game of Thrones fan should most definitely recognize the Walls of Dubrovnik. Kings Landing *cough cough* I mean, the Walls were one of my most memorable places in the city. Walk here during sunset, but be careful. It closes around 8pm and the walls take about 2 hours to walk entirely around. We came here around 6:30pm and felt like it was timed perfectly.
Excellent
After a busy day in old town, head back to the hotel to wash up and have an elegant dinner date night out at this stunning restaurant called Levanat.

Tucked away on a beautiful national park, Mljet. Mljet is accessible by both boat and or car. There’s a ferry that’ll take you from Dubrovnik to this location. We decided to take the rental car and drove for about an hour and a half to hop on the boat that let us take our car with us. Shortly after the ferry ride , we arrived. Make sure to buy your tickets to the national park at one of two cities: pomena or polace. We drove the car straight to Pomena as it’s a lot closer to the lakes and we didn’t want to bike or walk. It’s difficult to find parking so make sure to go early! ✨Things to do✨ - kayaking - walking around the lakes - biking (preferred) - free ferry to see the monastery
Good
This is Mljet’s cute little monastery! If you buy a ticket at the National Park Ticket Office in Pomena, you’ll be given a free round trip boat ride to see the monastery.
Excellent
One of the best sunsets I’d ever seen was right here from this boat. This sunset in specific had the brightest red color; fiery and fierce. What a perfect way to end an amazing day!😍❤️

Lovrijenac fortress is built on a high 37 meter rock, overlooking the sea. This location is just as iconic as the Walls of Dubrovnik. To hike up to the Fortress, don’t enter into Old Town. Once you het off the bus, before entering old town, look to your right and you’ll see a path that goes down and around, follow it as it’ll lead you to the fortress. You’ll see signs! :) IMPORTANT: *This was only 50 kuna. However, if you keep your 7 day card and hike this within 2 days of seeing the Walls, it’s free.* Lovrijenac Fortress is an easier hike than the walls and is fairly short. Enjoy the view! 😋

✨Calling all Game of Thrones Fans!✨ Recognize this? *Ahem* The “Iron Throne.” If you did the escape room, you get to take a picture on the iron throne for free. To get here, you’ll need to walk toward the Walls of Dubrovnik. It’s up the steps near the entrance of Old Town. You’ll see signs saying “Iron Throne.”

Hands down the best dinner ever! 🤤😍 Steak, potatoes, and asparagus. 🤤 This was such a hard goodbye as Edvin was off to Sweden the next day while I was returning to the US. ❤️🥺 It was a great farewell dinner. ✨

This was one of the best experiences I had on this entire trip. Sunset kayaking was absolutely beautiful. *Disclaimer* I don’t recommend this for those who don’t have upper body strength or aren’t physically in shape. This trip lasted 3 hours and was incredibly strenuous with the waves. ❤️✨L A S T L Y✨❤️ Croatia is an absolutely breathtaking country that you don’t want to miss out on. Split and Dubrovnik can be over crowded; however, the nearby cities are super underrated but still have charm and wonder. This country is a perfect getaway destination for couples as there’s plenty of activities to do and loads of date night dinner options to chose from along the water! Happy traveling!🥰
