California Road Trip

We arrived in LA and picked up our car! We used Turo to make our reservation and the car owner was there at the airport to deliver the car 👏

We went to the Santa Monica Pier, which is really pretty and as a lot of fun rides and food options! We were able to park the car near the pier.

We were starving, so we had a early brunch at Interstellar. The fries were really good 😋

Then we went to the Malibu Beach and Pier just because it’s iconic! We didn’t stay long but it was a nice stop to see the views from several movies.

We stopped in Santa Barbara, which was one of my favorite places from the trip!! Totally recommend, the views are stunning 😍

Of course we had to try the famous In-N-Out!! It didn’t disappoint, we were fans after this meal 😋

We were super tired, so we decided to rest! We stayed at the La Serena Inn in Morro Bay. It was super comfortable (good price-quality) and it had a simple breakfast included, which was super helpful for us to start the day early!

This was just too cute to see!! My very first time seeing wild 🦭and it was such an amazing experience.

We had this amazing pasta on our way to the next stop! Totally recommend - it was really tasty and the place was so nice!

We stopped at the famous Bixby Creek Bridge which has really nice views. Of course we took some pictures before continuing exploring the Big Sur.

We continued to explore the beautiful views of the Big Sur. But then we had to continue our journey because we had to drive 3h to San Francisco!

We arrived in San Francisco and I saw my very first Cybertruck. Then we went to the hotel to rest and ordered some takeaway before going to bed. The hotel was ok, but super noisy. We selected this one because it was in the city center and had closed parking (and we searched online that there is a lot of car robbery in the city).

We started the day at the Golden Gate Bridge. It was so pretty!

After, we went to the Marshall’s beach which is a great spot to take pictures! We were in love with this place 😍

We had to go to In-N-Out again, since it was so good!! Don’t forget to order items from the “hidden menu”.

After lunch we went for a walk at the Fisherman’s Wharf. It’s a nice place with a lot of restaurants and stores to buy souvenirs.

We just drove through Jamestown and saw these beautiful views!!

We had a nice pizza in a small town near our final stop for the day!

We slept in one of the coolest places of the trip!! A cabin in the woods 😍 you could hear all the frogs around us. It was so comfortable and beautiful.

We spent the whole day at the Yosemite! There is so much to explore and the views are breathtaking 🥹 We brought food to the park so we could do picnics with this amazing view!

We stayed at a simple hotel but with all amenities required! Additionally, it had breakfast included, which is really helpful when doing a roadtrip!

This was one of my favorite places from the trip! It’s just magical to be around these giant trees with the snow ❄️ I want to go back! We spent most of the day exploring the park! We packed lunch and dinner with us.

We drove several hours and slept at the SureStay Plus. The room was nice and it also had breakfast included!

We started our day and head to Palms Springs. We got to see all the houses where famous people lived (Marilyn Monroe, Elvis, etc).

We continued by exploring the Sunnylands Gardens, which are free to enter! It’s quite nice to go for a walk here.

We packed lunch to eat on the go. Then we drove to San Diego! Our first stop was the Balboa Park and we got to explore all the cool gardens!

We explored the old town! It has a lot of Mexican influence and it’s a nice stop when in San Diego.

We had dinner at the Old Town Urban Market, but I was starving so I forgot to take a picture of the food 😅

We watch this amazing sunset at the park. No words for these colors!!

It was time to go back to LA! We stayed at this hotel which was ~40 minutes from the center of LA. It was without a doubt the best hotel we stayed during the whole trip! The hotel also had the best breakfast we got during the whole trip.

We woke up early and after breakfast at the hotel, we went directly to the Hollywood sign! We took these pictures at the Lake Hollywood Park.

Then, we went to Beverly Hills to walk around and see all the cool stores and cars! It’s a really nice place and it has free parking.

We had lunch at The Cheesecake Factory in Beverly Hills. So good!! Look at this cheesecake 🤤

After spending some hours at Beverly Hills, we head to the Venice Beach to watch the sunset. It was so beautiful! We were still full from the Cheesecake Factory, so we skipped dinner and went home to rest 😬

We started the day at the Hollywood Walk of Fame! We spent some hours walking through the sidewalks to find cool names.

After we went to IHOP to get my favorite milkshake (the Oreo one is the best) 🫣

Then we went to the Venice Beach to relax for a couple of hours before our flight!

We did a late lunch because we were still full from the hotel breakfast and the milkshake! We had to say goodbye to In-N-Out since it was our last opportunity 😂
