Walk around the coast of Lima and just relax and take pictures, watch the sunset if you come during summer. Winter here is so grey so keep that in mind when you book your trip :)

This hotel is a great option if you are traveling solo, you can either stay at a dorm room to save some money or on a private room (their deluxe rooms are always so cute, colorful, and creative) if you want the privacy and still get to meet people if you hang out in their common areas.

Go for a walk in barranco. The hipster neighborhood of Lima. Beautiful places and little gems, lots of art and colorful murals.

Excellent Peruvian seafood restaurant. I always get a fish only Jalea (not the mixture of shellfish) but my family ordered some other things to try including Chita fish (not pictured) if you are not afraid to try new foods then definitely go for Chita!

Besides staying in a cozy place you get to have a co working space at Selina. Check them out and choose the plan that’s most convenient for you.

Beautiful show of water and lights in Lima downtown area. Entrance is less than $2 for adults. Definitely worth a visit if you are looking for things to do in Lima

My friend and I stayed at this hotel because it’s so close to the lakes we wanted to visit. Friendly staff and very accommodating. They have a kitchen you can use too. Breakfast provided.

No need to hike much here, the tour company will bring you in a car and then you just have to enjoy yourself with this beautiful view 😍 From Lima go to the bus stations of the north part of Lima, I took the Oltursa bus company, reliable and confortable enough to sleep overnight on the way to Huaraz. Once you arrive to Huaraz either take a colectivo or a taxi to Caraz and stay there or you can also stay in Huaraz; however, if you stay in Huaraz you will have to wake up VERY early to go to the tours.

Make sure to do this trek on your second day in the area so you can acclimatize. It’s a very beautiful trek and can be challenging, bring lots of water and snacks.

We came back to los alamos, this is the most convenient location for all the hikes we wanted to do in this area. The manager Alberto is a fantastic tour leader.

A must do if you come to Peru and don’t have much time left or even for those who come for work this is a weekend trip! Sand boarding and riding along the dunes of Huacachina desert. There is a little oasis as the cherry on top for this quick weekend trip :)
