Arrive in Bogotá! Most international flights arrive in bogota, with flights from NA arriving early morning and flights from Europe in the afternoon

Fly from Bogotá to Armenia and then take a taxi to Salento. Pre-book your taxi, there are none to hail! Explore the town of Salento and enjoy window shopping

After breakfast head out to the cocora valley. Jeeps leave from Salento main square (pay with cash). Enjoy the hike and return by jeep by noon latest.

In the afternoon visit a farm for a coffee tasting and farm tour. Gorgeous farm where you go picking first and then walk through the entire process. And then you taste 3 types of coffees. So much fun

Travel day. Travel to Medellin via Bogota. Pre-book your taxi at Medellin airport because it’s a mess!

The best place to stay in Medellin is El Poblado. This hotel is in Poblado but in a quieter street. Walk around the neighborhood and have dinner nearby.

Start your day with a free walking tour of downtown Medellin. It’s really interesting to learn more about the city’s incredible transformation

In the evening walk around el Poblado and check out the bar and restaurant scene

Take a full day trip from Medellin to Guatapé and the monolith el Peñol. This is a full day trip where you have the best views of the lagoons and visit the colourful streets. Return to Medellin end of day and relax

Take a free tour to visit comuna 13. This is a bit touristy but it’s so great to see how the sketchy neighborhoods have been transformed through art and freedom of expression.

Have dinner at El Cielo. Incredible experience from start to finish, including a course where you eat chocolate directly from your hands! The same menu would be 3x the price in Europe or US. Very worth it

Arrive in Cartagena!! This is by the beach so it’ll be very warm. Walk around the Old City, through Plaza Santo Domingo and get lost in the cute alleys

Try the famous andres carne for a late lunch - delicious food

We chose to stay outside of the walled city as prices were cheaper, but we were just a 5 min walk away from the old town so this was perfect!

Spend the morning walking around Getsemani and explore the small Ellet’s and all the grafiti
