Winter in Lofoten is beautiful, but you have to remember that the day is very short there and it is almost all the time dark, so it is worth using every minute on this island. Already in winter you can see fish suspended on wooden stilts, which hang to dry for several months, then put them in the water for a few days and use the power again, such a dish is called "stockfish"

My favorite restaurant is Børsen Spiseri, beautiful decor, cozy atmosphere, the best view and delicious food! It's worth remembering to book a table :) Excellent breakfast too!

In the restaurant and reception area of ​​the Svinøya Rorbuer building there is a museum, everything looks just like hundreds of years ago. It is worth asking an employee about a bit of history of this place :)
