Iceland by marcotraveltips

As soon as we landed in Iceland at Keflavik airport we took our vans and immediately headed towards our first destination, the Fagradalsfjall volcano, the most recent in the country.

Then continues with some relaxation at the blue lagoon.

Finally we returned to our hotel in the center of Reykjavik.

The second day we dedicate to visiting the thingvellir national park and Oxarárfoss waterfall.

Later we had a short lunch break in the Frioheimar tomato greenhouse.

In the afternoon we continue seeing the geysers in the hot springs.

To end the day in the best possible way we went to admire one of the most beautiful waterfalls in the country, Gullfoss.

The third day is dedicated to Seljalandsfoss and its secret waterfall nearby, Gljúfrabúi.

Then we visited the most famous waterfall in Iceland Skógafoss.

in the afternoon we visit the DC-3 plane wreckage.

And finally the fantastic Reynisfjara beach.

In the evening we arrived at our new accommodation at the Magma hotel.

The fourth day starts from Jökulsárlón and then does an activity by entering the glaciers and admiring the seals.

Next destination is the diamond beach.

In the evening we enjoyed a Viking dinner at Valhalla restaurants.

the overnight stay will be at Landbrot Guesthouse.

On the fifth day visit the Kerid crater, a crater that I will not easily forget.

The in the afternoon we visited Hveragerdi geothermal park.

Another unforgettable experience take a bath in the Icelandic hot river (Reykjadalur Hot Spring Thermal River)

In the evening relax a bit in Reykjavik's Sky Lagoon.

Finally overnight stay at the PAVI guesthouse.

The last day dedicated to discovering the capital and doing some shopping in the streets of the centre, we also tried the classic Icelandic hot dog.

We have thus concluded this fantastic trip to Iceland, and it is time to head towards Keflavik airport and leave our vans.
