1 week - Dubai and Abu Dhabi

Welcome to the United Arab Emirates! 🇦🇪The best way to discover the country is to start with the two major Emirates, Abu Dhabi & Dubai which can be easily combined together. We flew from Budapest to Abu Dhabi on our first day and arrived to Abu Dhabi during the night. ✈️

We stayed at Shangri-La Qaryat Al Beri which was really cool. 🏨 The view to the Mosque during sunset was just epic. 🕌During Christmas time everything was nicely decorated. Then we went to bed to start the next day early.

🕌 Start your day early at the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque to avoid the crowds and the heat. Make sure to register before your visit online and that you are dressed appropriately. The place is even more beautiful than words can describe it. ✨

The we took a taxi and went to see Qasr Al Watan. The building was incredible!

Next we had for some coffee at the Emirates Palace, one of the most beautiful hotels in the world. Choose the golden cappucino for some extra luxury! ☕️ You can also have some lunch there!

The we walked on the Corniche. ☀️

The we got back to our hotel and had a fantastic Abra ride inside the property. After we had some relaxing and a great dinner! 🍽️

Start your day in the National Aquarium and the see the beautiful underwater tunnel! 🦈🐟

Then we checked out of our hotel called a taxi and went to Dubai. It took 1.5 hour ride to arrive to Dubai.

Stayed at Damac Maison Mall street near the Dubai Mall and the Burj Khalifa. The property was super beautiful and we had the best view from our balcony on the 35th floor.

First we had some lunch at the Dubai Mall and walked around. It is such a unique mall. 🏬

Then we had a big walk in the Burj Khalifa Park. 🌴

We took the complimentary photo at this beautiful hotel entrance. 📸

We waited for the iconic fountain show to start and to see the Burj Khalifa illuminated.⛲️

We booked a sunrise session to the Burj Khalifa observatory and it was a magical experience to see the sunrise up at the tallest building on earth. 🌅

Next on our list was Dubai Frame and the surrounding park. Book your tickets priorly! 🖼️

Then we took the metro and get to the Future Museum. Make sure to book your tickets in advance!! 🤖

As it was Christmas time we spend the evening at Expo City, at the biggest christmas market in Dubai. 🎄

We started our day at the view at the Palm! We booked our tickets early and recommend to book the earliest sessions. The view was just fantastic! 🌴

We bought a ticket to the monorail and headed to the Antlantis. We walked around and explored this iconic place.

We took a taxi and went to the Marina to see the skyscrapers and the boats. It was one of the best places in the city!🏙️

Then we had a really long walk to the beach to see the ferris wheel at the shore. ☀️

We finished our day at Medinat Jumeraih. The souk is really nice there, you can buy some souvenirs there. In the park a christmas market were held and it was so much fun with great views to the Burj Al Arab.

We spend the majority of the day at the desert. We book a tour with Platinum Heritage and learned a lot about the culture. We rode the camels, learnt a lot about the culture, had traditional meals, watched a falcon show and had a safari there. 🐪🐫🌵

We spent the night at Dubai Creek, this new and vibrant part of the city.🌆

See the most beautiful Starbucks in the world at Ibn Battuta Mall. We also had some lunch there. ☕️

Then we went to Global Village which was the most fun place in Dubai. Make sure to pay a passport with stickers and try as many great food as you can! Brace yourself you can spend a LOT of time here!

We spent the morning at the Dubai Safari Park and spent our entire morning and half of the day. Make sure to bought an all in ticket to get to the safari part of the park. 🐆🐅🦓

At late afternoon we went to the Green Planet and it was incredible to this spot! Super cool! 🦥

At the end of the day we went to discover the Old Dubai, explored the souks there and took and abra ride. Also we visited the iconic Starbucks there.

Then we checked out of our hotel and went to the airport to go back to Budapest after this awesome week. You can change the starting and ending point and make this itinerary in reverse. We had the best time and saw all the highlights of the city!
