Kedarnath Rishikesh

On 7th May 2024, early in morning I reached at Rishikesh ISBT to get bus or ye I towards sonprayag. This is second time I am Traci to holi place. Pratham Kedar Shree baba kedarnath. Situated in Rudraprayag district.

Right at 40km from Rishikesh, you will come across this holy confluence of Mandakini and Alaknanda, called Devprayag sangam. From this point, we call it maa Ganga. Every time when I cross from here, I take a pitstop. A break for 10 minutes and you can witness this glory from road itself.

Maa Dhari Devi is protector of chardham , located at Rudraprayag.

By noon, we reached to this place called Narayankoti, Right after guptkashi. To avoid little crowd and to get best views of mighty Himalayas, you can choose this place to stay. Multiple resorts around.

We left from Narayankoti towards Gaurikund, today we will get darshan of baba kedarnath chal vigrah doli, Day after tomorrow is the day when, kapat of baba kedarnath will be open for next 6 months. From Narayankoti, now it’s not much distance left, we got some lifts and made it to sonprayag.

From Sonprayag, we can get a shared texi to Gaurikund for 50 rupee per person.
