Your Dream EGYPT Trip

So we arrived at Cairo international about 2:15pm! After 20 hours of traveling we were so ready to get to our hotel. Thankfully, the customs line was very fast and there is a line that accepts cash or card to get your EGYPT visa on arrival for $25 USD each. After this, we ordered an Uber on the app! Y

Our Uber ride to our hotel: Marriott Mena House was about 50 minutes! It was very affordable about $10 USD, however we felt inclined to tip more since it was such a long distance :) so round up to about $20. Travel tip: Egypt is a big tipping country- would keep that in mind when considering excellent service & it will almost always be in cash, so be prepared!

After checking into our beautiful room! We decided to take a walk around the hotel grounds and see the beautiful pyramids, which is a key feature of Marriott Mena House :)

We kept walking - very short walk and instantly got seated to the on site restaurant, 139 Pavilion. Amazing views and the dinner is excellent. They offer buffet style dining or individual meals. I ate the baked chicken with yummy mashed potatoes for about $15 USD!

Before we started our tour, we had breakfast at 139 pavilion and they offer an all you can eat style! So fresh and tasty! Again views of those wonderful pyramids!

We started our day with a wonderful tour off Viator! Our tour guide picks us up in front of our hotel and took us to the Pyramids of Giza! We got to skip the line, which was very long, and go straight to the Pyramids! He knew all the perfect spots for shots and all the wonderful Egyptian history that came along with it! It was wonderful and so amazing to see one of the 7 wonders of the World!

He then drove us to the point to start our camel ride! Our camel guide took us to a spot where all the pyramids could be seen at once! The camels were taken care of properly and the experience was so unforgettable! I would highly recommend :)

After the camel ride, our tour guide drove us to see the Great Sphinx of Giza and my goodness pictures don’t do it justice!

After all the excitement, we got a wonderful massage at Saray Spa located in the Marriott Mena House. Wonderful service and treated with fresh juice and relaxation!

After our massage we walked around the hotel grounds again at sunset and admired all of it’s beautiful architecture and fixtures! Along with the amazing state of the art pool!

Later. We decided to take a taxi and head out to the casino located in the Sheraton about 30 minutes away. It was a short ride and cost about 100-200 Egyptian pounds.

Inside the Sheraton was very nice and clean! One tip is they allow smoking I believe, so if you are sensitive to this- I would shy away from this activity.

That late night we decided to get some food and a drink. The best part of 139 Pavilion (at the hotel) is its 24 hours! So it is super convenient if you are hungry late at night & not quite adjusted to the time zone :)

Before checkout we decided to take a dip in the pool! Super lovely and refreshing!

After checkout we wanted to see a cool place we found on Instagram! City Stars mall! So beautiful in person and really shows you Cairo, Egypt is so much more than just Pyramids!

After that, we flew to our next destination: Luxor, Egypt for more adventure!

We checked into our hotel: Steigenberger Nile Palace. Be sure to say Nile Palace because there are two Steigenberger hotels in Luxor! Our room was so beautiful and overlooked the Nile River :) This hotel is hands down the best in Luxor!

Had to wake up early for our tour! Had some complimentary fruits on our patio overlooking sunrise♥️

We then went downstairs to get breakfast, which is included in our room rate + dinner! 3 nights for $449🥂 for 2! Buffet style breakfast with an omelette station! Fresh fruit, muffins, fresh honey- pretty much anything you would need :)

Our driver arranged by our tour guide picked us up at 6:30am. We then headed to see the Karnak Temples and oh my goodness they did not disappoint!

Our tour guide explained the history behind Karnak temples and it’s significance to Egyptian kings of the past! Such a cool experience and a must see in Luxor!!! I recommend doing an early morning tour to beat the large crowds and the heat!

Another stop on our tour: Valley of the Kings! It was absolutely insane to see drawings and paintings made thousands of years ago- still intact! Egyptian history is remarkable.

Last stop on our tour! Queen Hatshepsut temple. It was a little on the hotter side by this time of day so I recommend an umbrella and plenty of water!

After our tour, we were pretty tired. So decided to take a nap and order room service! Steigenberger Nile Palace has an extensive room service menu that was delicious and very speedy! Excellent service.

We were picked up from our hotel at 3:25am by our tour guide (Safari Hot Air Balloons)! We were then transported by motor boat across the Nile River and then into another van to the Hot Air Balloon location♥️ As many of you guessed, we didn’t get a sit down breakfast before because of how early our pickup time was! We ate protein bars & trekked on :)

Once we arrived, the crew was prepping the balloons and we quickly got in our baskets and got ready for take off 🎈

Once we were up, it was absolutely beautiful :) no words can truly explain. You just have to go to Luxor and do it!

Lunch with a view! Steigenberger Nile Palace has the cutest courtyard for your dining needs. Overlooking the Nile and Felucca boats :)

Went for a swim in the Steigenberger’s beautiful pool. What a day!

Our tour guide arranged a Felucca ride for us! Our driver picked us up and took us to the harbor! It was for about 1-2 hours on the Nile River at sunset! :) Golden city - Luxor, Egypt 🇪🇬

We dined at the beautiful Lebanese restaurant on site. It was included in our meal rate and was wonderful! I got the grilled fish Lebanese style with different Lebanese sauces :)

We made our way through the airport to head to Hurghada, Egypt!

Our same tour guide arranged us to get picked up front the airport around 11am! We then took a 20 minute ride to our hotel Premier Le Reve. Once we arrived we were greeted with a refreshing welcome drink! Yum! And shown to our suite! Also we were upgraded for free :)

Our full room! What a looker♥️ Beautiful bathroom featuring a jacuzzi and walk in shower. King size bed and patio with an amazing view. What a dreamy suite!

Premier Le Reve offers all inclusive options! We were able to eat at this restaurant as much as we wanted for breakfast, lunch & dinner! :) Set hours for breakfast 7am-10:30am. Lunch: 1pm-3pm. Dinner: 7pm-10pm. Plus snacks offer at pool house bar!

After eating, we relaxed at the pool! This is the salt water pool :)

We started our day again with complimentary fruits from our suite and protein bars! Then we waited in the lobby for our tour guide for our all in 6 boat tour of Hurghada! This tour includes hotel pickup and drop off and 6 activities: banana boat, snorkeling, scuba diving, orange bay, and fishing.

Tour of the top deck of the beautiful boat! This is a shared tour, so there were others behind us! Super friendly and nice.

We were on our way to do our first activity: banana boat! Super safe and fun! Everyone on board has the choice to either participate on stay and chill onboard. All persons must have a life vest on for these activities! :)

We then headed toward Orange bay! My favorite part of the trip. Here you had an hour to explore and relax. It was absolutely wonderful and such clear waters!
