A world called DUBAI

The booking (flights and hotels) We booked through our travel agency, Best trip, as usual. We took a flight from Porto to Dubai, with a stopover in Frankfurt and the airline was Lufthansa.

For the first 4 days we stayed at the Tryp by windham, half board, and we loved it. During the morning of the first day, we were at the hotel. The temperatures were extremely high, so we took the opportunity to try to cool down a bit. But it wasn't even that easy.

After lunch, we called a taxi (we urged the careem app and we always use taxis. It was very practical and economical) we headed to The Palm island, which is shaped like palm trees. We went to the tip of the island and looked at the Atlantis the Palm Resort. Atlantis The Palm is the largest resort in Dubai. Built on the artificial island The Palm Jumeirah, it is a bigger, prettier and more modern version of the Atlantis Paradise Island hotel, a resort located in the Bahamas that has the same architectural style and services similar to The Palm. Tourists who do not stay at Atlantis can visit the resort in two ways: by booking a restaurant or by visiting one of its attractions, such as the water park, the aqua park or the dolphin bay.

It was a beach intended for kite surfers. We watched a breathtaking sunset here.

Here we found the most varied types of jewellery and gold (some so yellow that they looked fake to a layperson's eyes). The tip for the place is: PECHINCH a lot, look and research a lot before choosing a shop to stop.

Besides many types of spices, nuts, grains, pistachios, dried fruits and dates of all sizes and for all tastes (even covered with milk chocolate), most of the shops sell perfumes in oil very fragrant and typical clothes for men and women.

At 150 meters high, Zabeel Park, nicknamed "the biggest frame in the world" was inaugurated in Dubai. Known as Dubai Frame, the structure is the latest among the extravagant projects for which the city has become world famous, offering panoramic views of the Dubai skyline, while also "framing" other iconic buildings, such as the Burj Khalifa, when observed from the ground. Entry is around 50 EAD (+/- 13€)

Wings of Mexico is perfectly placed in front of the Burj Khalifa backdrop, creating a stunning visual that is perfect for photos and memories in Dubai.

The fountains come to life every 30 minutes, daily, after 6pm. We were dazzled and watched the show on several days, several hours, and in different locations.

We start the day with a boat trip along the jumeirah palm with a delicious breakfast on board. And we had the opportunity to appreciate the grandeur of Dubai's most iconic hotel: Burj Alarab.

We returned to the hotel for lunch and that afternoon embarked on the desert safari adventure. It was one of the most incredible experiences we have ever lived. We chose to book the tour with a motorbike ride in the desert, and after enjoying the sunset we left for the camp to have dinner and watch several shows.

Abu Dhabi is the capital and the second-most populous city (after Dubai) of the United Arab Emirates. It's also the capital of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi.

Without doubt one of the most incredible places we have ever visited. Considered one of the most beautiful works of art in the United Arab Emirates, the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque is a must-see for anyone making a trip to Abu Dhabi. The mosque is grandiose and absolutely stunning, as well as having free entry and being open to foreigners, which is quite rare in Muslim countries.

Moment for fun. It is the largest indoor theme park on the planet and the world's first Ferrari theme park, located in the heart of fascinating Yas Island. Here we also savoured the flavours of Italy and had exclusive access to the fast and prestigious world of luxury Italian supercars and their racing legends.

For the last 3 days in Dubai, we changed hotels to enjoy some rest and the beaches of Dubai. We stayed at the "Aloft Palm Jumeirah" and we loved it.

It was the beach we liked the most. Known as the "Beverly Hills" of Dubai. This is an area of Dubai that includes a beach, restaurants, boutiques, art galleries, among others.

Dubai Marina is one of the best areas of the city to walk around. When night falls, the area gains light and colour to offer a pleasant environment where, in addition to strolling, you can have dinner or a drink.

Delicious food and an amazing view. We had the opportunity to see another spectacle of the Dubai Fountains while enjoying a delicious lunch.

The Dubai Mall, also known as the home of the Dubai shopping festival, is one of the world's largest shopping malls in UAE.

We ended the day, and the holiday with a climb to the much admired and incredible burj khalifa. We recommend going up in the late afternoon, to have the opportunity to watch an incredible sunset. Unfortunately we had a mishap, and were not able to go up at the time we had taken the ticket. However we did enjoy the view of the incredible illuminated city.
