Ecuador 2-3 weeks

Arrive in Quito and do a walking tour to see the local sights and get your bearings

Climb up the basilica for amazing views of the city

Get the cable car and spend an hour or so taking in the view of Quito and slowly walking about (watch out for the altitude - drink lots of water!)

Get an overnight bus and visit the Amazon for 4 days & 3 nights! Stay in a lodge made of bamboo.

See monkeys, caimans, birds, turkeys and snakes and amazing sunsets while you cruise through the Amazon waterways on a small boat with your group & amazing guide

Learn about lots of plants and trees and how indigenous tribes still use them today. Meet an indigenous family & make a meal with them.

Do a night walk and see how the rainforest comes alive at night

Leave the Amazon behind and head back to Quito before getting 2 buses (or Ecuador hop) to Quilotoa

Acclimatise to the altitude and then walk around the crater (10km difficult walk) and appreciate the beauty of the crater!

Get the bus to Guayaquil and visit the promenade for some nice food and drink before heading to the main event …

Fly to Galapagos! Stay on Santa Cruz Island to start and do a tour to Isla pinzon for some amazing snorkelling with turtles, sharks and sea lions. Spot blue footed boobies and iguanas on le fe.

Visit the giant tortoise sanctuary & learn about the conservation work for these animals

Spot iguanas everywhere!

Visit san Cristóbal island and stay for a night or 2. Visit the tijeritas view point and you can even snorkel here too, good turtle spotting location. There is also an interesting museum about the history of Galapagos (free)

Visit this beach near the above viewpoint and chill with the sea lions

Do a snorkelling day trip to nearby kicker rock and see sharks and amazing amount of colourful fish

Visit another island (we chose floreana but Isabella would be better) for a chance to see penguins and flamingos!!

Spend the last day relaxing at tortuga bay back on Santa Cruz before flying back to the mainland

Relax in montanita for 2 nights - you can surf, party, do yoga or eat good food here !

Plenty bars!!

Pizza for the hangover before heading back to Guayaquil to catch our flight out of there 😞😞
