Western USA - LV Arizona Nevada

Arrived at Las Vegas international airport. Followed the easy to read airport signs throughout the airport to arrive at the car rental location to begin our journey!

Checked into Bellagio hotel, even got a free room upgrade to a larger room even though they were not able to offer strip views.

Spend the day exploring the strip, visiting all the famous resorts and casinos! They are all different themed so it was fun and never the same in the hotels. The ones we recommend are: Caesars palace Excalibur Luxor The strat New York New York Bellagio The Venetian Paris

Had one of the best dinners at Hell’s Kitchen! It is a must try when visiting as all the dishes were made to perfection!

Started the day before sunrise to drive to Arizona to see the Antelope canyon, it was a sight not to be missed, with spectacular views of the varying rock structures and colors!

Finished off the day at horse shoe bend. Admission was free. There’s a uphill climb for about twenty minutes before arriving at the viewpoint so make sure to bring lots of water and sunscreen if you visit!

Went to the unique Sight of seven magic mountains, it was free admission and offered unique views of stacked rainbow coloured rocks in the middle of the desert.

Finished the day back at the strip with a cirque du soleil show, which was well worth the admission price and highly recommended. We bought our tickets on the day of at one of the many stalls on the strip selling cheap tickets!

Used this day as a shopping day at Caesar’s palace to stroll around the various shops and for an opportunity to buy some souvenirs.

Ended the day watching the dancing water fountain at Bellagio hotel. This was a sight that is a must when visiting the strip. Tourists gathered around early so a tip if you way prime views of the show, get there early to secure your spot.

We couldn’t go to Nevada without seeing the Grand Canyon so we booked a helicopter tour online before the start of our trip with sun dance. It was an experience of a lifetime and I highly recommend it!

This was an add on experience after the helicopter tour. It was worth it as we got to see the Hoover dam, which has stunning views of the dam from the top!

Ended our trip with a visit to the strat sky pod, which offered panoramic views of the entire Las Vegas city!

It was a spectacular week spent across three states in western USA: Las Vegas, Nevada, and Arizona, which we visited on our roadtrip days. It was definitely a trip to remember!
