The dishes are small but delicious and served in a creative way. Totally recommend pezo or casa lola for dinner or just tapas and wine.

I’ve booked a mystery tour in Spanish to improve my language skills and had an exciting evening touring around Malagas historic city center. Maria the guide was telling us stories that would never hear or see around the city. It’s a secret tour for free but ofc you pay at the end an amount you think it’s accurate. Definitely worth it!

Sightseeing in Córdoba: make sure to visit the cathedral called la Mezquita in the middle of the city center. It’s free in the mornings at 8:30 and 9:30 am and recommended to visit early. After that you can walk across the bridge and along the river. There are many ruins and old historic places. Just take a tourist map and check what you’d like to see and explore.

Must try in Cordoba is Salmorejo a cold tomatoe soup with egg and ham as well as Flamenquin. It’s a dough with cheese and ham. It’s so delicious if you order both and just dip the flamenquin into the soup. There are many other restaurants in this area and all are good like Rio and Molerino. Just choose the one you feel comfortable with and enjoy! ;)

Another great accommodation that I’ve came across through a local friend is this lovely pension in city center of Córdoba. It’s like an oasis located close to the river, cathedral and the turbulent restaurants area. The owners are friendly helpful and welcoming. There’s a nice terrace downstairs as well as on the rooftop. It’s budget friendly and a good way to travel solo to get to know other travelers.

If you’re up to try local wine and food platters go for Argus! Located close to hotel madinat it has a great wine selection, food platters and a nice terrace to enjoy! :)
