The flight was from Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport to Josep Tarradellas Airport. The duration of flight was 13 hours and the flight was of American airways. The airport was well organized and was very clean. The security checking was very fast making the process smooth. The staff were friendly and helpful. The airport had huge shopping mall and cafes. We booked a rental car for entire trip.

Barcelona Airport Hotel was few minutes away from the airport. The hotel was very spacious and clean. The hotel had everything perfect including prices, services and staff. The pool was very nice and it was attached with a gym area. They provided us enormous amount of amenities. The interior design made our stay more comfy. The staff was very friendly. The lunch was very tasty. The dishes were well presented. We had a great time.

Las Ramblas is at the center of Barcelona which is famous street. It was a wide street where the locals were selling unique things at cheap cost. It is considered as heart of Barcelona. The local people were having very nice nature and welcomed us very well. It was very nice long walk. The only disadvantage of this place was that there were many pick picketers, so we needed to take care of our belongings.

After having breakfast, we headed to Gothic Quarter which was half an hour away from the hotel. It is called as Gothic Quarter because earlier the place used to be ancient Roman village. The place is known for its ancient buildings and narrow lanes. The place had so much hidden meaning of ancient Roman culture. They had lots of shops that sold unique items. We had a great time walking around the beautiful lane.

Olympic Port is famous for hosting events for the summer Olympics. It is great tourist attraction. The place is heaven for lovers of water sports. The views of this place were fantastic. The water was very clear and clean. There were even lots of pubs and casino.

Montjuic means Hill of the Jews which is a perfect place to get a panoramic view of the whole Barcelona city. The hill is famous for its marvelous gardens and fortifications. The park was well organized and maintained. We needed to take a cable car to reach the castle. The view of sunset was stunning from there. The best thing was the magic fountain.

The location of Lascar 74 had amazing atmosphere. After tiresome day, we found a great restaurant. The food was delicious especially the scallops. The dishes were well presented and the staff were very friendly. The food served was very fresh. The prices were reasonable. After that we went back to our rooms.

After having breakfast, we headed to La Sagrada Familia which was 30 minutes away from Barcelona Airport Hotel. It is one of the most unconventional churches in Europe. This is part of the UNESCO World heritage site. We were amazed by the lavish designing. It is one of the best churches we came across. The efforts by Gaudi are truly impressive.

Casa Mila is popularly known as The stone quarry. It was the last private resident of Gaudi. We walked around the roof top which brought us close to strangely designed mosaic. It is the cultural house that organizes events every year. It was worth seeing the art which is done by Gaudi. They provided us the auto guide which was very helpful.

Park Guell was near to Casa Mila. It was a unique park filled with multicolored, which made park cheerful and gave life to this park. Gaudi had made park in a different way using colorful ceramic fragments. The park is situated on the top of hill and so the views were stunning. The park had both paid and free areas. They even had amazing mosaics. We had great time with each other.

After visiting Park Guell, La Torreta del was nearby to it. From outdoors the restaurant dint seem to be very appealing, but the food was worth the cost. They served us in big portions and it was well presented. The best dish was salmon paella. The hotel is good for a family outing. The service was very friendly and they welcomed us very well. The prices even were reasonable.

Hotel Marques de Riscal was 5 hours away from the Barcelona Airport Hotel. We had great time enjoying the spa. The amenities provided to us were in very good condition. The mountain views from here were just stunning. The surrounding atmosphere was also very cool. The hotel was very comfortable and the waiter are very friendly and helpful.

Vivanco Museum of the Culture of Wine was a great point to start our journey. The museum of wine was worth watching. We tried different wines. The history of Vivanco Museum of the Culture of Wine was so interesting and made us more involved here. After that we headed to our hotel and had our dinner. The food was very tasty and we had a great day.

After having breakfast, we headed to Bodegas Luis Canas which was 20 minutes away from the hotel. The winery was very interesting. They had wines that have been dated back to original Rostocks. We tasted wine in various oak barrels. They tasted so good. They gave us detailed explanation of the wines and we had great session with the people. The wine tour was very beautiful and we were amazed by the cellar.

Meson Las Duelas was based on restored convent which served excellent tapas and wines. The portions given to us were very decent. The taste of Black Pudding was perfect. The staff was very welcoming. The combination of food and wine was very nice.

Marques de Riscal was one of the best educational trip to winery. The wine taste was perfect and it was well presented. They had amazing sitting arrangement and the interior designing was very unique. The 2010 reserva was the best wine we came across. After that we went back to our rooms.

Hotel de Londres y de Inglaterra was 2 hours away from the Hotel Marques de Riscal. It is located at perfect location and the atmosphere was very cool. The hotel is located right on the beach. We had a stunning view from our gallery. Though it was bit expensive, but the amenities provided were worth the cost.

We had a private tour with San Sebastian Pintxos Tour. They gave us excellent suggestion for both food and wine. Our guide was very friendly, informative and helpful in nature. The service given to us was very good. The Pintxos also referred to as pincho was served on a piece of bread usually with a cocktail stick. We had a new different experience.

After having breakfast, we further moved to Palacio Barrena, Ordizia which was 30 minutes away from the hotel. It was historical landmark. This palace was one of the most beautiful palace i have ever came across. The history of this palace was so interesting. We had relaxing time in the garden. The atmosphere was so cool, and we enjoyed roaming around the palace.

After Palacio Barrena, we headed to our next stop which was Queseria Aranburu. The trip to Aranburu was educational. We were shown a video which narrated about Idiazabal cheese, the sheep and the process of cheese making. Afterwards, we tried various cheeses. It is world award winner in Idiazabal town.

San Telmo Museum was 1 hour away from the Queseria Aranburu. This museum addresses ancient history and contemporary Basque culture, and arts in a European context. The architecture of the building is combination of old as well as new ideas. Most of the signs were in Spanish so a guide is necessary. The robot exhibition was excellent and interesting.

Sidreria Beharri was a cozy restaurant in the middle of the town. We had fun eating the local cider and tasty pintxos. The staff were very attentive and the food was fresh and healthy. The flavors of menu del dia was perfect. We had our best dinning experience till now. The prices even were reasonable.

The Beach of La Concha had crescent shape located at the Bay of La Concha in the Basque Country, northern Spain. The scenic arrangement and unique seaside resorts has made the beach very famous. The beach was very clean. The place was best to learn surfing and canoe. The beach is counted in 12 wonders of Spain.

Urgull is a hill which was 30 minutes away from the Beach of La Concha. The hill is considered as the defense point. It is counted as the heart of the Basque Country.The hike was easy and the view were so stunning from the top. We had fun listening to chirping of birds and waves. We even visited a castle which was at the top. We had fantastic panoramic views.

Good Shepherd of San Sebastian Cathedral is considered as the most religious place. A very good example of Neo Gothic style. The cathedral is well maintained and was very clean. The place was so silent. According to new architecture, the windows light up at the sunset.

Ristorante Civico 14 served Italian food. The dishes were well presented. The staff were trained very well and they were attentive. Burrata salad was the best in starters. From starters to desserts, they didn't made us feel sad. Every item was worth eating. The place is highly recommended if you visit the cathedral.

After having healthy breakfast, we continued our trip to Hondarribia which was 30 minutes away. We checked into Parador de Hondarribia. The hotel is centrally located in the town, which had stunning views of the bay from the top. The staff coordinated well with us. The rooms were clean and great amenities were provided.

Hondarribia Beach was 20 minutes away from the hotel. The beach is well organized and perfectly managed. The beach was very clean. Their were charges of parking as well as surrounding areas and the fees were affordable. The sand was very soft and we had an amazing time swimming and doing activities. The only thing that disappointed us was that there were no bath house.

Jaizkibel was a fabulous mountain for having great time in hiking and biking. The hiking seemed to be easy but was bit tough. The views of marine coast were marvelous. We had a fantastic view of both French and Spanish Basque country. The landscapes even seemed to be very great.

Our next destination was Santa Maria Gate. It was 20 minutes away from Jaizkibel. It is a beautiful historical landmark. We had a lovely walk discovering a lot of things around it. The people here served us delicious cakes. The atmosphere was very cosy. We had the best sunset view. It is fully fortified by the city walls. After that we went to the hotel, and had our dinner. The dinner was very fresh and had good taste.

On the way to Bilbao, we stopped at San Anton which is a mountain and half of the Getaria coast is covered by this island. This place is used for recreation of local people. It also had a natural park. We had our leisure time walking around the coast, and the various scenarios were mind blowing. The family picture turned out to be awesome.

After we headed to Vizcaya Bridge which was 1 hour away from the San Anton. It is very famous and worlds oldest transporter bridge which links Portugalete and Las Arenas in the Biscay province of Spain. The bridge is built very uniquely. The views were marvelous. The fees for this ride is very cheap and affordable. The experience to this bridge was very different.

We checked in to Gran Hotel Domine. We stayed here for 2 days. It was located just opposite to Guggenheim museum. We were given a room with the view of this museum. The rooms were spacious and the amenities provided were comfortable. The hotel was well managed. The staff were very knowledgeable and suggested us the best places in Bilbao.

Nebak Jatetxea was a decent place with variety of dishes. The restaurant concept was very good. The best dish was black inked calamari. Everything we ordered was tasty including the desserts. The services were up to the mark. They even had arranged live music and so we had an awesome dine in.

Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum is an art museum. The museum is made with full of creative ideas. Frank Lloyd Wright building was he best part of this. They have collection of large range of enormous art, culture and paintings. The worst part of this museum was the staff weren't friendly and helpful.

La Despensa del Etxanobe had an excellent menu. The restaurant was worth of everything you order. They had an amazing list of wine. The staff were very attentive and they suggested us the best dishes especially the scallops which were nearly perfect. The owner welcomed us with bouquet of flowers. The lunch was just perfect.

We rented bikes from Javi who was very knowledgeable person and helped us in every aspects which included the route, kilometres, and also gave tips for best places to roam around. It was the best time of the day where we rode a bike and had fun doing this activity.

After completing our breakfast, we checked out from the hotel. We headed to Bilbao Airport which was 15 minutes away from the hotel. Here we returned our rental car. The flight was of Iberia airways from Bilbao Airport to Fort Worth International Airport. The journey was of 17 hours. We had the best trip in Spain and collected bunch of memories.
