Barcelona - Ibiza - Formentera

Get to your hotel (easy to reach from the airport by bus). Even if you arrive during the morning, they will let you leave your bag safely before your room is ready.

Discover the best Cathedral in the old city. The Cathedral of the Holy Cross and Saint Eulalia, located in the Ciutat Vella (Old Town) of Barcelona, is a stunning example of Gothic architecture and one of the city’s most iconic landmarks. Commonly referred to as the Barcelona Cathedral, it serves as the seat of the Archbishop of Barcelona and is dedicated to Saint Eulalia, one of Barcelona’s co-patron saints.

Casa Batlló, one of the most iconic landmarks in Barcelona, is a masterpiece by the renowned architect Antoni Gaudí. Located on the famous Passeig de Gràcia Tickets to enter Casa Batlló can vary depending on the type of experience you choose. Here are some approximate prices: • Blue Ticket (Basic entry): Around €35. • Silver Ticket (Includes Smart Guide and Fast Pass): Around €43. • Gold Ticket (Complete experience with access to private spaces): Around €45. You can purchase tickets directly from the official Casa Batlló website or through various third-party vendors.

Go to the famous market in Barcelona, La Boquería. There you will find of course good Jamón, many meat or fish dishes, mostly to eat on the way.

Visit the Montjuic castle 🏰 and get to the top to enjoy the view of the city from above. Inside the castle, you can have refreshing drinks or eat something 🍹

Get to the Port de Barcelona, where you can find many beautiful places to take pictures and enjoy the sea view. You can have dinner in one of the many restaurant that are over there.

Have breakfast in your hotel (it’s usually included) We ate many different and good things so that we were full of energy to discover the city.

First stop of the city: the Triumphal Arc. We went there walking, so that we could see more the city. Otherwise you can get there by metro, bus, Uber.

Go to Plaça de la Sagrada Familia and enjoy the surroundings before entering it. You can buy souvenirs or check restaurants around. Go check the Sagrada Familia from the inside of course. You can either buy tickets in advance or over there.

Walk or get a Uber to get to Park Güell. It is not really far but the way is full of high roads, so you might get tired if you go there by walk. We bought our tickets in advance so that then we were ready to go.

End your day in Platja de la Barceloneta. Many people do swim in the sea, or you can relax on the sand.

Eat at “La Malandrina” when in Barceloneta. We loved the ribs 😍 and of course the sangria.

Fly to Ibiza from Barcelona. It will only take 1 h ✈️

Get to your Hotel. We stayed in Sant Antoni because it was the best place to get to all the different beaches during the days. It was also cheaper than other options around and the room was comfortable.

Check the most famous Cala in Ibiza, Cala Comte. It will be full of tourists so it can be hard to find a free table at the bar/restaurant. We just got something to go and enjoyed the beach.

Go watch the sunset and have dinner at Hostal La Torre. You will need to make a reservation in advance (and also leave a deposit) - try a few weeks before your preferred date, if possible. It is definitely the best restaurant to see the sunset in Ibiza, and their food was delicious, especially the meat.

Start your day by checking Portinatx. It is far from the touristy, crowded beaches. There you will only find Spanish people or residents that, really quietly, enjoy the sun and the sea. There are also many restaurants, bar, and water activities.

This was absolutely the best Cala for us. Make sure to stay there until sunsets, when many people gather to dance, play music and sing.

We were craving sushi so much that we went to this really good all you can eat. The fish was delicious.

Go to Cala Gracioneta. There are no sunbeds like in most of the wild beaches in Ibiza, but there is a Chiringuito. Pay attention to your itinerary since you need to book in advance if you want to eat there, otherwise they will have no place. It is pretty expensive though, so we just had some cervezas and fries to go and decided to eat something afterwards, somewhere else.

One of the most famous Calas in Ibiza, Cala Bassa. We think it was not so special compared to the other ones, but still something you should see while in Ibiza. Just maybe don’t spend the whole day there, there is much more to discover.

One of the best sunset spots of the world! Go to Es Vedrà - park your car outside and walk until this famous spot. Wait for the sun to go down while many locals play music and drink around there.

Eat at “La Cava”. They made a chicken, baked with cheese and ham, that we found so delicious.

Go to Formentera. We took the really first ferry in the morning so that we could spend the whole day there.

If you arrive early at platja d’Illetes, you can see spectacular things like this one in the picture. You can also enjoy the beach solo before hundreds and hundreds of tourists arrive and make it crowded.

Go check the town of Formentera and discover these colorful places like La Kasa Dei Kolori. Enjoy the vibe of Formentera.

Go to the most famous spot of Formentera: ChezzGerdi. Take some good pictures and if you’re hungry, thirsty, you can eat and drink something there.

We decided to enjoy the island by walking. We went back to the Port from the Old Town, it took us one hour but we saw incredible, wild spots. Then we went back to take our ferry to Ibiza. We didn’t sleep in Formentera because we didn’t have many more days, but if you can you should.

From Ibiza, go back to Barcelona to spend your last days there. (It will take less than 1h! ✈️)

Get to your hotel. Hotel Catalonia Avinyó was perfect for two people and in the heart of the Ciutat Vella So we could see more of its beautiful streets and not get stressed to go around in our last 1 day and a half.

Go check the famous Stadium of Barcelona: buy the ticket to see the museum, with all the history about the football team.

Check the field and immerge yourself in one of their matches! This experience is a MUST when in Barcelona.

During the evening in the city centre, you will find both markets and restaurants to have dinner and spend your night, relaxing.

Go to Passeig de Gracia and enjoy Casa Battló at night with its lights!

Get some Jamon to go. After one week in Barcelona, we could eat Jamon for breakfast, lunch and dinner. It simply is so good.

Eat the best paella in Barcelona: you can’t leave before eating one. There were also many good entries so we really enjoyed our lunch.

Visit the national museum of art (MNAC) and enjoy the view ☀️
