3 days in Monsaraz

This hotel is ideal for the hot weather. Besides the 2 swimming pools, all rooms have a private balcony and, also breakfast included. It is located in a very central area, with plenty restaurants nearby (Sem Fim and Foral MDXII are possible to go walking)and within 10 minutes driving you can get to Castel of Monsaraz

Make sure you make a reservation, because it is always booked. We stayed outside and it was a little bit uncomfortable because there were too many mosquitos and other insects crawling around the tables and getting stuck in the coats

Good beach, in summer season it is possible to rent sun loungers and enjoy the rental of multiple water sports (like paddle, kayak, amoung others)

Again for restaurants make sure you have a reservation, otherwise the waiting time is long. About this restaurant, super recommend!!! If possible request to have a table outside, because the view is super super worth it

One more fluvial beach to visit. If you like to have picnics or just be in a quiet fluvial beach (ideal for kids) this is the one you want to go

For me the best time to visit this place is when the sun is sunsetting, the reflection that it makes in one of the ramifications of Alqueva is stunning

IT'S MANDATORY TO HAVE A HOT AIR BALLON RIDE. I made my reservation through WindPassenger (you have to book this in advance, and you will receive the confirmation up to 14h before the scheduled day)
