Flight, there are shuttles that take you to the center for € 4.50 each way or taxis for about € 10

Whale and dolphin watching from 8:30am to 4:30/5:30 pm, with Futurismo Azores. We recommend that you book the excursion on a rubber dinghy, it has a higher cost (€ 171.72 for 2 people) but it is absolutely worth it! It was a fantastic experience. We suggest you spend the rest of the day getting to know the small town of Ponta delgada.

During our excursion with futurismo Azores we have visit the famous island of Vila Franca do Campo. It is an extinct volcano!

We go to collect the car at 8:30 from ANC azores Holiday, it is highly recommended to book!!

After that we move to the Viewpoint of Ponta do Cintrão, a fantastic cliff! We take some photos and move to the tea plantations.

Gorreana tea fatory! An unforgettable landscape, remember that in the Azores there are the only tea plantations in all of Europe!

After lunch we go to the Miradouro do Salto da Farinha, from here a 5 km trek starts practically flat and we also go to see Poco Azul, a super beautiful lake with freezing water!

We continue the day by going to the Miradouro da Ponta do Sossego the Miradouro da Ponta da Madrugada. We recommend going there at sunset!

We wake up early and go to the Salto do Cabrito, a waterfall immersed in the Jurassic nature of the Azores.

Then we head towards Centro de Interpretação Ambiental da Caldeira Velha here if we enter without taking a bath it costs € 3, if we take a bath it costs € 8. Unfortunately, we found an endless line to swim, so we gave up, sin...!

For lunch we move to the Caldeiras das furna where we have lunch with the classic dish cooked under the ground, good but nothing special.

After lunch we see Furnas and the small church facing the lake.

Then let's go and see Parque Terra Nostra, an enchanting place! We have decided to swim in the iron water pool, very nice but get ready, it all comes out orange!

Then we go to the Furnas lake and finish the day with a nice night swim at the spa of Poça da Dona Beija, fantastic! 

We leave the hotel and head to Ponta da Ferraira where we bathe in the thermal pool in the ocean, if you don't see it with your eyes you can't believe it! Unforgettable place!

After taking a relaxing dip in the ocean we stop to see perhaps the most popular attraction of the Azores, the lakes of Sete Cidades! We recommend that you go to Miradouro da Boca do Inferno to fully enjoy the magnificent view. From there, if you have time, there are many treks that can be done.

We had dinner in a bar in Piscinas Naturais Caneiros.

We then head to Mosteiros beach to enjoy the fantastic sunset in the black beach! Awesome!!

We first visited the iconic Ermida de Nossa Senhora da Paz! This day we advise you to keep it as a wild card in case you are unable to see the previous attractions due to rain or thick fog, we were very lucky and for this we continued going to visit Capelas and the Red Peak Mill, in addition we visited the hot waterfalls of ribeira da salga, an amazing natural park.

Hidden among the tunnels is a secret waterfall!

We finished the day with a refreshing dip in the ocean!

At 10:50 we have the flight! We arrive at 11:35 in Terceira, we recover the car at the airport from discover cars.

We eat and we go to the beach in Zona balnear da Praia Grande and Praia da Riviera. We also recommend visiting the city, very characteristic and full of small churches.

Before going to the hotel we pass the Miraduro da Serra do Cume, but because of a strong fog you couldn't see anything! Before the sunset we suggest you to visit Miraduro da Cruz do Canario.

We go to Quatro Ribeiras Beach

then we move to the Piscinas Naturais Biscoitos, if you want, you can take an easy excursion of 2 hours around Baías da Agualva - Terceira PR02 TER.

Then for 2.30 pm we go to Algar do Carvao e Gruta in Natal, a very funny and interesting experience! You can enter the volcano! You think that in addition to this volcano, only in another place in the world is it possible to do that!

Once the excursion is over, we go to visit the city.

We visit the left side of the island, we go to see the Moinho das Doze Ribeiras and the Miraduro da Ponta do Queimano and we hunt down all the Imperios that we can find on the island, we have photographed about 20 of them! We drop off the car at the airport at 8:00 pm and go home with a heart full of emotions and eyes full of beauty! Until next time!
