Cinque Terre

This was our room for our trip. La Spezia is the best place to sleep and the least expensive.

This is the port of La Spezia you can get there with a short walk in the middle of the city, passing in front of the monument of Garibaldi.

We bought the train ticket for the Cinque Terre, very useful for traveling between one country and another. We advise you to buy it on the internet because there is a lot of queues at the station. The cost is € 18.20 for one day and € 33 for two days. The site to buy tickets online is www.parconazionale5terre.it.

first stop Riomaggiore with its colorful houses. The best place to take a photo is on the rocks. Unfortunately we found the Via dell’Amore (the road that connects Riomaggiore to Manarola) closed and should reopen in 2024.

Second stop Manarola. We stopped and ate the fried fish😋

Corniglia with its long staircase is our third stop. It is located on a hill and to reach it you have to count 382 steps or for the less courageous a minibus is available.

And for breakfast some wonderful croissants.

Fourth stop our favorite! Secret to taking these beautiful photos? follow the path from Vernazza to Monterosso.

Last stop with a beautiful beach for swimming during the summer. The statue of the god Neptune, narrow alleys and many restaurants of typical products.
