We wake up at this beautiful hotel and we see the incredible view of the limestone cliff from the balcony. We get out to explore beautiful Meteora!

We start exploring the beautiful monasteries on top of the cliffs. It’s a rock formation in central Greece hosting one of the largest and most precipitously built complexes of Eastern Orthodox monasteries, second in importance only to Mount Athos.

Meteora was added to the UNESCO World Heritage List in 1988 because of the outstanding architecture and beauty of the complex, in addition to its religious and artistic significance

After a long day walking around the monasteries, we visited this beautiful restaurant and we enjoyed an amazing and delicious lunch.

After a long day, we finally get back to our hotel and enjoy the rest of the night.

We wake up and start the trip to Metsovo

After a long way, we arrive at our destination Metsovo. We go straight to our hotel and relax for a bit

The largest centre of Aromanian (Vlach) life in Greece, Metsovo is a large regional hub for several small villages and settlements in the Pindus region, and it features many shops, schools, offices, services, museums, and galleries.

After a quick walk around we visit this beautiful restaurant and enjoy a delicious hot lunch

After our lunch, we head back to our hotel and relax for the rest of the day

We wake up and we go out and explore the city

Before starting to explore the city we visit this beautiful cafe and enjoy a hot coffee and some breakfast

Metsovo is a town in northwestern Greece, located in the prefecture of Ioannina in the Valtos region. It is known for its picturesque mountain scenery, traditional architecture, and its local gastronomy. It is especially known for its high quality wines, smoked meats, and local cheeses. Metsovo is also known for its remarkable ski center, which attracts many visitors each year.

After a long ride from Metsovo to Ioannina we go to this lovely restaurant and have some delicious food

And we finally go to our hotel and sleep

We wake up and we start exploring this beautiful city

The castle of Ioannina is definitely an intense place. It was built in the 5th century, and has since seen many battles and sieges. It's considered to be one of the most important fortresses in Greece, and it's also a symbol of the city's history and culture.

The castle's walls are made of stone and are up to 20 feet thick in some places. The main entrance to the castle is the Lion's Gate, which is named after the large stone lion carved into the entrance. Inside the castle is a Byzantine-era museum, which displays artifacts from the Byzantine and Ottoman periods. There are also several churches and monasteries located inside the castle walls.

After exploring the castle we have to explore the city too, so we start walking around the city and enjoying the view of the lake

After a long walk, we go and have some delicious grilled food at this gorgeous restaurant

Then we visit this place to have some fun and play the pool and bowling!

Back to our lovely hotel for some rest

We wake up early and we start our journey to Trikala city

After a long ride, we stop at this beautiful taverna and have some delicious food

The Byzantine Castle of Trikala is an impressive castle, located on a hill in the city of Trikala in central Greece. It dates back to the 11th century and was used as a defensive structure by the Byzantines, as well as a place of refuge during times of war. The castle is surrounded by high walls and the perimeter is dotted with towers. It also contains a large courtyard where you can find the remains of a Byzantine Church.

Is a large marble structure dating back to the 16th century. It is octagonal in shape and was built in honour of Ottoman general, Osman Sah. Inside, the walls are decorated with inscriptions in Ottoman Turkish, Greek and Arabic, as well as symbols such as crescents, stars, and floral patterns. The dome is the main feature of the tomb and is visible from the outside. The site serves as an important reminder of the Ottoman rule in Greece

We will not stay in Trikala. We head to Larissa city and after a full day of adventures we arrive at our hotel

We wake up and head to the restaurant area of the hotel and have a delicious breakfast

The Agios Achillios Church in Larissa is a magnificent structure, built in the 19th century by local craftsmen. The impressive building stands out in the area, as it is one of the few Christian churches built in Greece during the Ottoman rule. The church is also known for its intricate artistry, which is visible in the detailed murals and mosaics found throughout the interior. Today, the church is popular among tourists, who come to admire its beauty and explore its rich cultural and spiritual legacy.

Ancient Theatre of Larissa was the first Greek theatre to be built outside Athens. It was constructed in the 4th century BC and was the largest theatre in Antiquity, seating over 20,000 people. It was one of the most important cultural centres in Greece

After a walk around the city, we stop at this incredible place and we eat some fantastic food

After an amazing meal, we visit the fortress of Larisa and have some cocktails

This is our last stop, alkazar park, we have some fun here walking around the park, listening to the music and admiring people ice skating!
