3 days in Santorini

🇮🇹 Il primo giorno partiamo da Firostefani, il piccolo borgo vicinissimo alla capitale Fira. 🇬🇧 The first day we start from Firostefani, the small village very close to the capital Fira.

🇮🇹 Poi raggiungiamo a piedi la famosa località di Imerovigli, coi suoi stupendi edifici dalle cupole blu 💙 🇬🇧 Then we walk to the famous town of Imerovigli, with its beautiful blue-domed buildings 💙

🇮🇹 Raggiungiamo poi Skaros Rock, un grande promontorio roccioso da cui ammirare una stupenda vista su tutta l'isola. 🇬🇧 We then reach Skaros Rock, a large rocky promontory from which to admire a wonderful view of the whole island.

🇮🇹 Per raggiungerlo c'è un percorso di circa 20 Min dal centro di Imerovigli. Consigliate scarpe chiuse. 🇬🇧 To reach it there is a journey of about 20 minutes from the center of Imerovigli. Closed shoes recommended.

🇮🇹 Dietro la roccia di Skaros si trova la chiesetta più bella e segreta di Santorini, vi basterà continuare il percorso dietro alla roccia 🤩 🇬🇧 Behind the rock of Skaros is the most beautiful and secret church of Santorini, just continue the path behind the rock 🤩

🇮🇹 Per pranzo fermatevi a mangiare una pyta da Let's Eat 🇬🇧 For lunch, stop for a pyta at Let's Eat

🇮🇹 Da Imerovigli prendiamo poi l'autobus per Oia, il villaggio più famoso. Ad Oia il punto più famoso da fotografare è la Blue Domed Church, la chiesa col campanile rosa e la cupola Blu. C'è sempre tantissima fila per fare una foto quindi consiglio di arrivare presto la mattina. 🇬🇧 From Imerovigli, we reach Oia, the most famous village. In Oia the most famous point to photograph is the Blue Domed Church, the church with the pink bell tower and the blue dome. There is always a huge queue to take a picture so I recommend arriving early in the morning.

🇮🇹 Uno dei luoghi più fotografati è la famosa libreria Atlantis book. 🇬🇧 One of the most photographed places is the famous Atlantis book bookstore.

🇮🇹 Ad Oia ogni scorcio è meraviglioso da fotografare. Ma per ammirare il tramonto in un luogo intimo, vi consiglio di non fermarvi al castello, dove troverete tantissime persone, ma di dirigervi verso Ammoudy bay! 🇬🇧 In Oia every glimpse is wonderful to photograph. But to admire the sunset in an intimate place, I advise you not to stop at the castle, where you will find many people, but to head towards Ammoudy bay!

🇮🇹 Il nostro hotel era al centro di Fira, vicino alla stazione degli autobus verso tutte le destinazioni dell'isola. 🇬🇧 Our hotel was in the center of Fira, close to the bus station to all destinations on the island.

🇮🇹 Visitiamo il centro di Fira, con uno dei panorami più belli, soprattutto al tramonto. 🇬🇧 We visit the center of Fira, with one of the most beautiful views, especially at sunset.

🇮🇹 Dal centro di Fira si può raggiungere il porto vecchio attraverso la teleferica o attraverso un percorso di tantissimi scalini, molto panoramico. 🇬🇧 From the center of Fira you can reach the old port via cable car or via a very scenic route of many steps.

🇮🇹 Una delle più belle chiese del centro. 🇬🇧 One of the most beautiful churches of the centre.

🇮🇹 Per pranzo prendiamo il bus da Fira e ci spostiamo in uno dei villaggi più caratteristici, Pyrgos. Ci fermiamo a pranzo da Penelope's, dove assaggiamo tantissimi piatti tipici buonissimi. 🇬🇧 For lunch we take the bus from Fira and move to one of the most characteristic villages, Pyrgos. We stop for lunch at Penelope's, where we taste many delicious typical dishes.

🇮🇹 Visitiamo il centro di Pyrgos, col suo castello e le strette vie tra casette tutte bianche. 🇬🇧 We visit the center of Pyrgos, with its castle and narrow streets between all-white houses.

🇮🇹 Dopo pranzo, ci rilassiamo nella famosa Black beach, caratterizzata dal colore scuro della sabbia. Lettini e ombrelloni sono gratuiti, purché si consumi qualcosa. 🇬🇧 After lunch, we relax on the famous Black beach, characterized by the dark color of the sand. Sunbeds and umbrellas are free, as long as you consume something.

🇮🇹 È quasi l'ora del tramonto e ci spostiamo in un altro villaggio, tra i più autentici e meno turistici, Megalochori. 🇬🇧 It's almost sunset time and we move to another village, one of the most authentic and least touristy, Megalochori.

🇮🇹 Da lì raggiungiamo il punto più bello dell'isola da cui ammirare uno stupendo tramonto: il Cuore di Santorini. 🇬🇧 From there we reach the most beautiful point of the island from which to admire a wonderful sunset: the Heart of Santorini.

🇮🇹 Infine per cena mangiamo la Moussaka più buona di tutta l'isola da Parea's Tavern, a Fira. 🇬🇧 Finally, for dinner we eat the best Moussaka of the whole island at Parea's Tavern in Fira.

🇮🇹 L'ultimo giorno prendiamo il bus diretto ad Exo Gonia per visitare l'unica chiesa dell'isola dal tetto rosso. 🇬🇧 On the last day we take the bus to Exo Gonia to visit the only church on the island with a red roof.

🇮🇹 Dopo pranzo ci rilassiamo qualche ora nella spiaggia più famosa, la Red Beach. Non ci sono ombrelloni o lettini nè posti dove mangiare, quindi consiglio di portarsi acqua e cibo 🇬🇧 After lunch we relax for a few hours in the most famous beach, the Red Beach. There are no umbrellas or sunbeds or places to eat, so I recommend bringing water and food
