Abbiamo soggiornato all’hotel Residence. Ci siamo diretti verso il centro di Amburgo partendo dal municipio, percorso le via principali perfette per lo shopping. 🇬🇧 We stayed at the Residence Hotel. We headed to the center of Hamburg starting from City Hall, walked the main streets perfect for shopping.

Dopo aver pranzato alla birreria HB ci siamo diretti ai magazzini, Speicherstadt. Costruito in mattoni rossi, lo storico complesso di magazzini più grande al mondo. Oggi considerato patrimonio dell’Unesco. In fondo alla via dei magazzini ci trova La Elbphilharmonie è una sala da concerto della città di Amburgo, situata nel quartiere di HafenCity. 🇬🇧 After lunch at the HB brewery we headed to the warehouses, Speicherstadt. Built of red brick, the largest historic warehouse complex in the world. Today considered a UNESCO heritage site. Down the street from the warehouses there is La Elbphilharmonie is a concert hall of the city of Hamburg, located in the HafenCity district.

Capodanno ad Amburgo il posto migliore per concludere l’anno e ammirare i fuochi d'artificio è nel porto presso i Landungsbrücken, il tutto viene supportato acusticamente dalle sirene di tutte le navi che vi sono ormeggiate. 🇬🇧 New Year's Eve in Hamburg the best place to end the year and admire the fireworks is in the harbor at the Landungsbrücken son acoustically supported by the sirens of all the ships docked there.

Visita alla chiesa di San Michele, una delle principali chiese Luterane in stile barocco. Dopo la cena a base di pesce, abbiamo visitato il quartiere di St. Pauli, Reeperbahn è il centro del quartiere a luci rosse e dunque della vita notturna più “trasgressiva” della città. La “zona a luci rosse” è composta da una strada chiusa, la Herbertstraße, severamente proibita alle donne, in cui si trovano esposte in vetrina, le donne in stato di prostituzione. Inoltre, Lugo le strade del quartiere si trovano molti locali di striptease e sexy shop ma anche ristoranti, nightclub, pub. 🇬🇧 After the fish dinner, we visited the St. Pauli district. Per ammirare la città sotto un’altra prospettiva, consiglio di attraversare a piedi il vecchio tunnel dell'Elba, che collega la città di Amburgo all'area portuale di Steinwerder. 🇬🇧 To see the city from a different perspective, I recommend walking through the old Elbe tunnel, which connects the city of Hamburg with the Steinwerder port area.

Cena al ristorante Schifferbörse, molto particolare in quanto l’arredamento è in stile marinaresco. Menù con piatti locali, ottima cucina e personale cordiale. Non tanto distante dal ristorante si trova il bar Heritage consiglio di andare a provare i loro drink. 🇬🇧 Dinner at the Schifferbörse restaurant, which is very unusual in that the décor is maritime in style.
