Paris with Love

Welcome to Paris, City of Love and elegance. We came to Paris with plane from Milan. It took 1:15 hour to reach Paris. And this airport is where we began our journey. We took a shuttle bus to get into the city. It costs 17 euros for a single ticket.

Our first stop was the Arc de Triomphe. It was built in 19 th century. The Arc de Triomphe honours those who fought and died for France in the French Revolutionary and Napoleonic Wars, with the names of all French victories and generals inscribed on its inner and outer surfaces. It was truly magnificent. You can also go on top of it to watch the city from there.

It was to check in for our stay. We chose this hostel due to its position, really close to metro station. Great bar and nice staff. The room was clean and after a refreshment we went out to visit other places.

Lunch time had arrived and we chose this place. It was one of the best restaurants in town. The Food was delicious. We got chef’s choice for the day which I don’t know the name of the dish and also the traditional Cassoulet. You have to try it in Paris.

As we walked in the streets we saw cafes with French vibes, artist in the streets till we reached the wall of Love. It is composed of 612 tiles of enameled lava, on which the phrase 'I love you' is featured 311 times in 250 languages. It was so beautiful. The air was full of love.

Montmartre is famous for its artistic heritage and a distinctive village atmosphere characterised by steep, winding, cobbled streets. It is crowned by the white Sacré Coeur church which sits on its highest point. The area in front of the Sacré Coeur offers extensive views of Paris. Many artists lived, worked, or had studios in or around Montmartre, including Amedeo Modigliani, Claude Monet, Pierre-Auguste Renoir, Edgar Degas, Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec, Suzanne Valadon, Piet Mondrian, Pablo Picasso, Camille Pissarro, and Vincent van Gogh. Montmartre is also the setting for several hit films.

Next stop was this little pink restaurant which is a famous shooting location In Emily in Paris. It’s interesting to know that the owner doesn’t appreciate much that people come and take photos in front of his restaurant.

Time for a recharge. We had to try French crepes at Breizh Café. It was really tasteful and good booster for us. Then we headed back to the hostel. Our night ended with a karaoke night. It was another reason to select this place.

The Place where you can see the Eiffel Tower from its base to the top point. It was a mesmerizing point of view. The most famous photo spot was not available due to construction but we still managed to shoot some great photos.

It was lunch time and we had chosen to eat Fallafel for lunch. We had the most amazing Fallafel sandwich at this place. It was so crowded that we had to stay in line but it was definitely worth it. Totally recommended.

It’s the world's most-visited museum, and a historic landmark in Paris, France. It is the home of some of the best-known works of art, including the Mona Lisa and the Venus de Milo. We suggest you to do a little bit of research before going there to save time and enjoy more. Because it’s so large that it could get you bored. So get prepared. Our priority was these parts: Ancient Iran and Achaemenid Empire, Roman Empire, Ancient Greece and Egypt, Mona Lisa and Napoleon III Apartment. They were all amazing and full of extraordinary sights. Be sure to check this place out even if you are in Paris just for one day!

Last Stop for day 2 was seeing Eiffel Tower at night when it’s glowing. You can see the great details of this metal structure that was built in 1887-1889. Locally nicknamed "La dame de fer" (French for "Iron Lady"). It has become a global cultural icon of France and one of the most recognizable structures in the world

Time for a French Breakfast. We ordered a dish containing one coffee, a croissant, orange juice, French baguette and jam for just 9 euros. The Place is close to Louvre and metro station so it’s really convenient.

The Pont Alexandre III is a deck arch bridge that spans the Seine in Paris. It connects the Champs-Élysées quarter with those of the Invalides and Eiffel Tower. It’s a great photo spot. The weather was windy so we had some challenges during photo shoot. But we managed to take some great frames.

Last stop before our departure was The Avenue des Champs-Élysées. It is known for its theatres, cafés and luxury shops, as the finish of the Tour de France cycling race, as well as for its annual Bastille Day military parade. And finally we headed back to Paris Beauvais Airport to come back home. It was a wonderful, cheerful and exciting trip.
