Winter in Dolomites

We woke up early and headed on the road. Whole drive took us more than 13 hours to get from Warsaw, Poland to Alta Badia in Dolomites but the weather was good and winter scenery was surrounding us ❄❄

We checked in, had some rest and prepared for tomorrow's adventure 🥰 I was extremely happy as my dream about Dolomites came true ❤

Woke up in this beautiful winter wonderland 💙

We had a free hotel bus to La Villa in the morning but decided to drive to slopes by our car a little later, we parked at Sponata parking (free one) from which lift takes you to all the other lifts in the area. We couldn't buy Dolomiti SuperSki tickets for 9 days in packet near the parking (only tickets up to 7 days available there) but you can still take the lift to La Villa for free and buy tickets there. We had a wonderful day, full of snow and quite sunny.

In the evening we went out for hot vine in the La Val where we're staying. There was some Christmas event with foodtruck with local food and drinks near the fire department. We had fun and warmed up while listening to Christmassy songs.

Started our 2nd skiing day from parking at Corvara in Badia. There is a free parking next to Golf Club. Explored new tracks today and new town next to ski slopes.

This track goes inside of the town, at the end you can take gondola to take you up again.

Stopped for dinner in this cool place. They have delicious pizza and drinks. Not a bad place to have a rest also, with a beautiful view.

If you wanna have fun, listen and sing to music outloud and drink elegant drinks you should definately go there! 🍸

Had some rest in spa after skiing. They have hot tube jacuzzi and dry and wet sauna there. Also some fancy showers.

Visited this cute town in the evening. It is worth to take stroll there and feel unique Dolomites vibe.

Today we were shortly skiing in the morning as we're heading on road adventure.

Came back to hotel to get dressed and took some photos on balcony as it was perfect weather 😊

We stopped on our way when saw this lovely place and took some drone shots. The views are so pretty there 💙

Here we came to this spectacular place, the castle in snow looks particularly amazing. The scenery was strictly from fairytale. If you have a drone don't forget to take it there with you.

Finally made it to one of the most popular and breathtaking places in Dolomites. To be honest we did not expect it to be fully frozen but still it was so magical there. There was no sun in this valley around 2 pm and there was freezingly cold despite today was a very sunny. Take your time to have a walk there.

Arrived to this beautiful city before sunset. Be prepared for having a long walk there as the place is incredible, Christmas decors were everywhere and you could feel Christmas magic already.

And here it is how the Christmas market looked like. It was very memorable, they had a lot of delicious sweets and other Sudtirolian snacks/meals. Kids will have fun in Christmas miniature train.

On our 4th day of skiing we took our favorites tracks from previous days and also discovered some new. There are so many of them! My favorite for now was No 11.

On our way to black track No 1 (Vallon mountain peak). The views during all the way are spectacular and I enjoyed this track so much ❤ It wasn't much difficult as for the black one. 💯 recommend it!

Back to delicious pizza here. This time ordered also apple Strudel with vanilla sauce and it was so good 😋

New day, new snack from Christmas market 😋

This time we started from the same free parking at Corvara in Badia but took a lift to Colfosco to change skiing locations for today and explore new area. Must lift is track No 50, the views are breathtaking there!

New food place for today, goulash soup was great and drinks were delicious 😋

After skiing we drove to Arabba. This town/village is very small but the views from above (like in the picture) are amazing. Sunset was so beautiful that day 😍

6th day of our skiing was dreamy, sunny and very warm. Still we were exploring some new tracks and getting used to the ones get to know before.

Came up to this cozy place with very good food for reasonable prices 🙂

That day we made Sella Ronda track skiing. Amazing experience, couldn't recommend it enought! 🥰 Take a look at pics to get to know how it looked liked from the beginning and what towns we were passing by on green Sella Ronda track.

This was such a cute passing through the town.

My favorites area from whole Sella Ronda track. It reminds me of Sardinia because of all these small rocks around the track. ❤

The viewpoint from pic looked like closed in winter but anyway we had spectacular views there.

Exhausted after skiing but back to Alta Badia region where we started we found this unique restaurant with delicious food and great service. 💯

Having fun skiing, it got much warmer now than when we arrived, slightly smaller amounts of snow now but still super cool.

Big and crowdy restaurant, also not so cheap but with great view.

In Bruneck again, love this city vibes 🥰

This time we explored also Castle there, it was partly closed and partly opened (there is a souvenir shop inside). Anyway it was worth getting up the hill to it as the city views were lovely there.

On the main street, it is so pretty and colorful 🥰🎄

9th and our last day skiing here. Still managed to discover new lifts and tracks 😉

Always so crowded here as it is located near mamy main lifts. Grwat decors however we tried to eat there and the service wasn't exactly interested in taking orders and the time we managed to order, most of food actually was missing 🤦🏻‍♀️

So we came back to this restaurant with great service and delicious food and eat outside this time.

Had a nice evening walk, it felt like Christmas already there 🥰

Coming back home. Stopped on our way back for this spectacular winter wonderland views.

Also couldn't miss this lovely castle as it was just on our way 🥰 Must fly if you're a drone owner 😉
