Osaka - Nara - Kyoto guide

Made it to Japan!!🇯🇵 Get your train tickets to Namba (city centre) for ¥970 The journey will take about 45mins

I stayed in an Airbnb called Arkadia Ef, it was a 10min walk from Namba and 7min walk from Dontonburi. We paid about US$120/pax for 5 night, worth it!!

Walk towards dontonburi & try the yummy takoyakis along the way!

Go explore + take pics at Dontonburi!! It’s such a nice vibe + picture perfect backdrop

Crab feast at Kani Doraku! They’ve got a few outlets at Dotombori, make sure to get a reservation early as they’re booked out from about 8pm onwards. You can walk there to get a number first, then go shopping before eating hehe We got the set meal for about ¥7000

Day trip to Kyoto!! First head to Fushimi Inari Shrine Walk around and take loads of aesthetic pics!

Have lunch at a Kyoto buffet restaurant, we had food at Restaurant Arashiyama, it cost about ¥2000 There were over 50 types of Kyoto cuisine and it was sooo yummy! Then nearby we went to see the kimono forest - a play on bamboo forest hehe

Bamboo forest!! It’s was sooo beautiful and cooling from the heat outside.

We then took the romantic train to see the views of the river, it was sooo beautiful, the train ride cost about ¥440 Sit on the right side of the train if you’re leaving from Arashiyama station, & you gotta book tickets in advance :) Train runs every hour

Head back to Osaka at night & go try out Zauo Fishing restaurant, where you have to catch your own fish to eat😂 Such a fun experience honestly, we had the sea bream!! Total bill was around ¥6500 for 3 pax

Head to the outlet mall to do some shopping!! We took a train there from Nippombashi, about a 40min journey

At the outlet mall, there’s a beach nearby where it’s filled with white marbles which hasn’t been turned into sand yet It’s such a nice peaceful beach and there were not many tourists around!!

For dinner, head back to Osaka & have some Wagyu beef! We made a reservation for this place about 3 weeks in advance and it didn’t disappoint. It cost around ¥9900/ set each

Walked around Namba to do some night time shopping to end the day💓

Most exciting day ever!! Take the train from Namba to Nara - there’s a straight express train, journey took about 45mins

Have some katsu near the train station! Was super yummy + rice, cabbage and miso soup was free flow😭😭

Walk to the temple area, there’s an entrance fee of ¥800 if you want to enter and see the Buddha

Do some shopping in Nara!! We got some yuzu honey from Sugi Bee to bring back home and my parents are obsessed with it. I’d recommended it 10/10

Visit the fish market for some fresh seafood!! There’s so many options there, but make sure to go early, most stores close in the mid afternoons!

Shopping day!! Walk along Namba, Dontonburi & Shinsaibashi There’s so many stores and I’d recommend going into Uniqlo / GU, there’s soooo much discount there & the quality is 10/10

Headed to Nagai station & had some food before our teamLabs reservation at the botanic garden Food was so yummy & it only cost ¥790 for this bowl of food!!

Enter between 7:45-8:30pm as they close entrance after that It takes about 1hr to walk the entire exhibition. Do book tickets early online as it’ll be cheaper :)

Last day shopping before heading off! Go to Takashimaya which is a department store selling everything <3 You can also leave your luggages on the 7th floor for free if you spend above ¥3000

Also did some last min shopping along Dontonbori and since weather was nice, took a bunch of pics too hehe

Take the JR line straight to Kansai Aiport for takeoff Amazing Japan trip, hope you also manage to go😌
