Sajek Valley - Bangladesh

On the way to Sajek valley, I took a night sleeping bus from Dhaka, the capital city of Bangladesh and arrived around 7 o’clock in the morning at Khagrachari (a small town in the district of Chittagong in Bangladesh). I got down from the bus and went inside this beautiful restaurant which has a great view of this lake. Anybody can tell the bus conductor to let them get down from the bus in front of the Buddha Temple and you can find this restaurant right there which is a 1 minute walk.

Over there, I had my breakfast and chai (Tea) and enjoyed my view. After that I took a Chander Gari (Moon Car in English but also known to be Mountain Cars) and took another 3 hours ride to arrive in the most beautiful valley known as Sajek valley.

By the time I reached there, I was very tired so I went to had lunch and after that I went to sleep. When I woke up it was already 6 so I went for a walk and was amazed by the beauty of the valley and the wooden houses. Clicked a photo in one of the wooden house resort whose name is Darjeeling resort.

Was walking with my group when I saw there was a shop where a boy was selling tea in bamboo glasses. I was interested to taste the tea so we all bought one for each. The bamboo tea was too good to drink.

Next Day I woke up and went to the famous Sajek Helipad where you get too see clouds on top of the hills. The area I was pointing with my finger that part is India’s north eastern side. I was standing in Bangladesh’s side.

The houses over here looks like European houses. The roads of Sajek valley.

This a place where the Lusai people used to live when they were in Bangladesh. This is a beautiful Lusai village that words aren’t enough to describe the beauty of it. One has to come here to see and witness the life they lived over here.
